What Is Measure J?
Measure J is a $9.1 million general obligation (GO) bond measure on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot. If approved by at least 55% of votes cast, it would fund repairs and improvements to classrooms and facilities at Mt. Shasta Elementary School and Sisson School.
When Was the Last Bond?
This is the district's first school facilities bond measure since March 1997, when voters approved the district's previous facilities bond with 72.5% support. That bond has since been fully repaid.
